During the presentation of the bond issue in European financial centres on June 27-29, investors recognised the growth potential of the Croatian economy and the stability of the Croatian financial system, which resulted in a great interest in the bond issue.
On Thursday, June 30, the Republic of Croatia thus made public the issuing of eurobonds on the international market, the ministry said.
The market demand was more than 1.3 billion euros, which is nearly 80 percent more than the planned amount, said the ministry.
Interest in Croatian eurobonds was shown by funds investing in EU markets and investors from the Far East and North America, it said.
