Four bids for the provision of consultancy services in the process of privatization and recapitalization of Croatia osiguranja d.d.

There was a public bid opening held today in the premises of the Ministry of Finance. This bid opening was a part of the open procedure for the public procurement of consultancy services in the process of privatization and recapitalization of Croatia osiguranja d.d.

Before the final deadline for the delivery of bids, which expired today at 12:00, four bids were received in a way and in accordance with the terms and requirements set out in the Tender documentation.

The bids were offered by the following groups of bidders:

1. KPMG Croatia d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia, KPMG Advisory Ltd., Budapest, Hungary, KPMG Advisory S.p.A., Milan, Italy, WOLF THEISS Recstsanwalte GmbH - Zagreb Office, Croatia - the price of the bid: HRK 23,550,000.00 (HRK 29,437,500.00 including VAT);

2. Lazard Freres, Paris, France, Erst&Young Advisory, Paris France - the price of the bid: HRK 28,500,000.00 (HRK 29,022,619.00 including VAT);

3. BNP Paribas S.A., Paris, France, Interkapital vrijednosni papiri d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia - the price of the bid: HRK 19,195,091.24 (HRK 20,839,297.42 including VAT);

4. Deloittee savjetodavne usluge, Zagreb, Croatia, Deloittee Advisory s.r.o., Prague, Czech Republic, DLA Paper Weiss - Rechtsanwalte Tessbach GmbH, Vienna, Austria, Horvath es Tarsai Ugyvedi Iroda, Budapest, Hungary, law firm Mamić, Perić, Reberski, Rimac Odvjetničko društvo d.o.o., Zagreb, Croatia, law firm Gugić&Kovačić Odvjetničko društvo, Zagreb, Croatia, Deloittee Uzletviteli s Vezetesi Tanacsado Zartkoruen Mukodo Reszvenytarsasag, Budapest, Hungary, Deloittee Audyt Spolka z organiczona odpowiedzialnoscia, Warsaw, Poland, Deloittee savetovanje d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia - the price of the bid: HRK 18,180,000.00 kuna (HRK 22,725,000.00 including VAT).


We would like to note that the selection criterion to be applied within this procedure is "the economically most favourable bid". In addition, along with the price of the bid, the following elements will also be evaluated: specific experience of the bidder, adequacy of the privatization plan and methodology and of qualifications and competences of the staff envisaged to work on this project.

Following the review and assessment of the received bids, the Ministry of Finance will, pursuant to the provisions of the Tender documentation and of the Public Procurement Act in force, make a decision on the selection or a decision on the annulment, not later than 30 days after the day of the public bid opening.
