• analysis of financial condition of public companies and majority state-owned companies
• tasks connected with restructuring and consolidation of business subjects
• cooperation with the Sector for Public Debt Management in the field of performing activities regarding the issuing of state guarantees
• keeping the register of concessions and monitoring them
• analysis of concessions collection dynamics and undertaking measures of more efficient disbursement of compensations per concessions
• improving the non-tax revenues collection system
• monitoring and analysis of state aid policy
• participation in preparation of legal regulations regarding state aid
• analysis of conditions connected with assets and rights damages caused by natural disasters
• draft proposals of acts and other regulations, their amendments
• launching projects with scientific background directed to the improvement of fiscal policy efficiency
• other tasks determined by the Minister
